I'm living in the Tex-Mex mecca but I like the fresh and convenient way of making my own food at home. So when its 100 degrees every day pico de gallo becomes my craving, and pairing it with thin pita or tortilla chips is a healthy snack or sometimes meal for me. Ingredients:
1 medium tomato, diced
1 red onion, finely chopped
1/2 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
2 sprigs fresh cilantro, finely chopped
